A medical services organization on Long Island is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Women's Health team at one of their outpatient facilities in Suffolk County.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Women's Health
- Setting: Outpatient
- Schedule: 4 to 5 days a week (rotating Saturdays
- Patient Volume: 3 to 4 patients per hour
Responsibilities:
The Women's Health NP / PA will:
- Act as part of the medical services team providing reproductive and prenatal health care
- Provide relevant health instruction to include family planning, nutrition, sexual counseling, and principles of health promotion and maintenance
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- New grads welcome!
