Bronx, New York

Position Overview

A large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Neurology Physician Assistant to join its outpatient neurology team. This is a permanent, clinic-based role supporting neurologists and collaborating with other specialty APPs in a fast-paced, diverse patient population.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide neurology care under the supervision of a physician

  • Evaluate patients, obtain comprehensive medical histories, and perform physical and neurologic examinations

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; assist in diagnosing neurologic conditions

  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with collaborative agreements

  • Monitor patient response to treatment plans and adjust care as appropriate

  • Counsel and educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognosis

  • Review patient histories and identify abnormal or evolving neurologic conditions

  • Document all encounters, treatments, and follow-up plans accurately in the EMR

  • Coordinate care with physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary team members

  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine clinical procedures

  • Participate in outpatient care delivery and occasional urgent or same-day evaluations as needed

Practice Setting & Schedule
  • Outpatient neurology practice

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Saturday hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (schedule specifics to be discussed)

  • Multiple practice locations throughout the Bronx

Requirements
  • Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant

  • Post-training neurology experience required

  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multispecialty environment

  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus, not required

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually
