Job Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical extension of the neurosurgeon, helping to increase patient volume and optimize care delivery.
Work primarily in the outpatient setting, with a focus on clinic-based patient management, and support surgical procedures as needed.
Cover occasional weekend phone calls, handling low-volume emergency cases.
Practice across two sites, contributing to both office-based and surgical patient care.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to improve workflow and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Licensed Physician Assistant in New York State.
Experience in neurosurgery, spine surgery, or related surgical specialties is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently while aligning with the clinical goals of the practice.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Interest in research and continuous practice development is a plus.
