Job description
A leading regional healthcare network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Neurosurgery team. This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities across two hospital sites.
About the Opportunity:
Assignment Length: Dec 2025 to June 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (50/50 split)
Responsibilities:
Managing inpatient rounds and conducting outpatient clinic visits
Performing neurosurgical consults, postoperative follow-ups, and ongoing care management
Performing inpatient procedures under physician supervision, as needed
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in the EMR
Qualifications:
Active NJ Physician Assistant (PA) license
Active CDS and DEA registration
Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma
Working knowledge of EMRs
Desired Skills:
Prior experience in a Critical Care and/or Neurosurgery role/setting
Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
