• Exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatient nephrology practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico
• Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive kidney care
• Focus on managing patients with chronic kidney disease and related renal conditions
• Collaborative and patient-centered environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage chronic kidney disease and related conditions
• Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate therapies
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health record systems
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing clinical development
Qualifications
• Current NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant in the United States
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in outpatient medical care preferred
• Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare informatics preferred
• Commitment to continuing medical education and professional growth
