Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) opening near Davenport, IA
Located in Silvis, IL – Davenport 15m

Seeking Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
7 24-Hour Shifts per Month
Overview:
* Join an established hospital-employed Neonatal Nurse Practitioner team at a Level II Nursery/NICU
* Full-time schedule consisting of 7 in-house 24-hour shifts per month
* Flexible scheduling designed to support excellent work-life balance
* Provide comprehensive assessment, evaluation and treatment of newborns under pediatrician supervision
* Manage neonatal patients in the Level II Nursery and attend deliveries as needed
* Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
* Stabilize newborns requiring transfer to higher levels of care
* Assess, plan and evaluate neonatal medical care in collaboration with attending pediatricians
* Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging
* Manage medication orders, IV therapy, parenteral nutrition, blood products, admissions, transfers and discharges
* Provide consultation to nursing, medical and administrative staff
* Participate in neonatal nursing education, competency assessments and quality improvement initiatives
* Work independently as the sole NNP scheduled per shift
* Seeking an NNP with at least 2 years of NICU experience
* Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program required
* NNP certification and unrestricted Illinois license required
* BLS and NRP certifications required
