Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for a Level IV NICU
  
• Weekend coverage only, 1-2 weekends per month
  
• Shift times run 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM (24-hour shifts)
  
• Looking for 1-2 providers who can commit to approximately 1-2 weekends per month on an ongoing basis
  
• Inpatient setting with approximately 35 patient encounters per shift across a 52-bed department
  
• Preferred experience in lumbar punctures, arterial line procedures, central line procedures, chest tube procedures, and airway management/intubation procedures
  
• CV surgery cases are referred out for intervention
  
• Active or IMLC license required
  
• DEA required
  
• Board certification required
  
• Required certifications include BLS, NRP, and PALS

This facility is a dedicated children's hospital providing comprehensive pediatric care including a Level IV NICU, representing the highest level of neonatal intensive care available. The department maintains 52 beds and supports a high volume of complex neonatal cases, offering an advanced clinical environment with robust support systems for specialized neonatal providers.
