Neonatal Physician Assistant (Neonatal AP) Locums Job in central Florida | ASAP Start | 4–6 Shifts/Month

We are seeking a Florida licensed Neonatal Physician Assistant (Neonatal AP) for ongoing locums coverage at a busy Central Florida facility. The ideal provider is currently working with a staffing company, has strong feedback/references, and can commit to 4-10 shifts per month.

The Opportunity
--Start: ASAP
--Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts, 8 AM–8 AM
--Coverage: 4–10 shifts per month
--Shift restriction: Providers cannot work two 24-hour shifts back-to-back; scheduling can be 24 on / 24 off / 24 on
--NICU: Level II
--Newborn nursery: Approximately 25–27 babies/day
--NICU census: Approximately 8–10 babies/day

Required Procedures
--The provider must be comfortable performing the following independently:
--Thoracentesis and/or chest tube placement and removal
--Endotracheal intubation
--Umbilical artery and/or umbilical vein catheter placement

Requirements
--Active Florida NNP/APRN license
--Neonatal experience
--Comfortable working independently in the newborn nursery
--Proficient with required neonatal procedures
--Able to commit to 4–6 shifts per month
--Strong recent clinical references/feedback
