Nonprofit health system in the Mountain West seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for their level IV NICU.
About the opportunity:
- Location: Utah
- Start Date: ASAC
- Schedule: 12 hr. shifts 7a-7p, 7p-7a (24 hrs. shifts are from 7a-7a.)
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced nursing duties, including health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and prescription in consultation with a referral plan.
- Be responsible for patient care within licensure guidelines and defined documentation.
- Conduct patient assessments, order tests, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Oversee and provide treatment, ensuring optimal outcomes and cost-efficiency.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within their scope.
- Document patient care accurately and bill appropriately.
Qualifications:
- Masters or higher degree.
- Current state license
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
- Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
