JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider to join a collaborative team. Pulmonary &/or critical care experience required. Acute Care certification required for NPs. Competitive compensation along with comprehensive benefits offered.
About position:
- Inpatient only position that will see pulmonary and critical care patients in the ICU
- 7on/7off (eleven-hour shifts) and is a mix of daytime and nighttime shifts.
- Rotation of day and night shift
- Will work with nighttime intensivist providing cross-cover of patients, admits patients to MICU, responds to codes
- Opportunity to work with internal medicine residents
- Will learn to perform central lines, A-lines, intubations, simple bronchoscopies, chest tubes, critical care ultrasound
