Alvaro Giraldo MD PA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established outpatient internal medicine practice in McAllen, Texas. We serve adults and seniors across the Rio Grande Valley with a focus on primary care, chronic disease management, preventive care, and Medicare Advantage patients.
This is a strong opportunity for a PA or NP who wants to build long-term patient relationships in a supportive, physician-led practice.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common acute and chronic conditions
- Manage follow-up visits, medication refills, lab results, and care plans
- Support preventive care, quality measures, and chronic disease management
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and clinical staff
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
Qualifications
- Internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, or primary care experience preferred
- New graduates may be considered
- Comfortable caring for adult and senior patients
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork required
