Shore Physicians Group Hospitalist Service manages inpatient care for Shore Medical Center which is a 300 bed hospital serving Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Growth and diversification has created an immediate opening for a full time Advanced Practice Hospitalist - Nocturnist.

Two providers needed for daily coverage

Location: Shore Medical Center, Somers Point, NJ

Position: Advanced Practice Professional, Hospitalist Program – NP or PA

Shift: 7on/7off, Monday – Sunday, 7p-7a

Practice: Up to 10 admissions per night with support from the swing shift rotation

Responsible to run to codes

No cross coverage

EMR: Cerner

General Summary:

The Nocturnist Advanced Practice Professional covers Hospitalist in-patients as needed. This individual is responsible to function independently, conduct comprehensive examinations, diagnose and treat illness as directed by the supervisory physicians, compile medical data within the medical record, administer and order diagnostic tests and interpret test results.

Compensation:

Compensation is extremely competitive and based in the 50-75% of MGMA & AMGA standards. Bonus and incentives are additional compensation. Full medical benefits are covered along with 401k retirement plan. Medical malpractice with tail is provided.
