Nocturnist Hospitalist APP Opportunity – Rural New Mexico

Delphi Healthcare is seeking a qualified Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a rural New Mexico hospital as a Night Hospitalist APP.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hospitalist APP who enjoys autonomy, a manageable patient census, and a supportive clinical environment. The position offers flexible scheduling, strong overnight support, and the ability to provide meaningful patient care while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Flexible scheduling options available:
  • 7 on / 7 off
  • 10 on / 10 off
  • 14 on / 14 off
• W2 or 1099 employment options
• One-year contract
• Anticipated start date: October 1, 2026

Clinical Environment

• 12-bed inpatient unit
• Low-volume census with approximately 1–3 admissions per night
• Strong physician and telemedicine support available overnight
• No current ICU responsibilities
• Future plans to develop a 3-bed open ICU
• Collaborative relationship with hospital leadership and medical staff

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Hospitalist, Emergency Medicine, or inpatient medicine experience preferred
• Comfortable managing admissions and cross-cover responsibilities independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
