Peds Hospitalist PA Needed in Toledo, OH

Toledo, OH | Pediatric Hospitalist APP | ASAP Start | 13-Week Assignment

• Start: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (2–4 months with option to extend)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

• 5x12-hour shifts

• No call

• All-inclusive rate

• Facility may consider 2 providers to split the schedule

Practice Details:

• Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist coverage

• Focus on Pediatric Pulmonology and Neurology patients

• Conditions include asthma, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, seizure disorders, and medical management of trauma patients

• No newborn nursery, NICU, PICU, or delivery coverage

• Circumcisions not required

• Average daily census: 15+ patients

• EMR: Epic

• Orientation includes training with the lead PICU APP

• May float between Toledo Ebeid Children's Hospital, Bay Park, Flower, and Wildwood (all within 10 minutes)

Requirements:

• Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant only

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Hospitalist experience

• PALS required

• Ohio license preferred (licensing may be considered for the right candidate)

• DEA preferred

Credentialing:

• ASAP start upon credentialing

• Client is actively interviewing and looking to onboard quickly
