Job Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments, daily rounding, and ongoing clinical management
Collaborate closely with hospitalist physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based guidelines
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
Communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing staff, and consultants
Participate in handoffs and cross-coverage as scheduled
Adapt quickly to new clinical environments as part of the travel program
Qualifications
Hospitalist or Inpatient experience
Willingness to travel
Strong clinical and teamwork skills
Active Georgia License Preferred
