• Specialty Backup Available: Hematology/Oncology on-site

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Biopsies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Rhode Island PA license required
• Board: Board Certified Physician Assistant
• DEA: DEA required
• Experience: 2 years recent Hem/Onc experience or completion of hem/onc rotation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology care
• Perform daily rounding (1-2 hours) based on consult volume
• Perform biopsies as needed
• Manage patient volume of 18-22 outpatients per day
• Collaborate with on-site hematology/oncologist
