We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for a 6-month locum assignment with a growing outpatient Hematology/Oncology practice in New York.
📍 Location: New York
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assignment Length: 6 months
- Full-time preferred, but providers with near full-time availability will be considered
- Overtime paid after 40 hours/week
Practice Details:
- Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
- Occasional inpatient consults (minimal)
- 15 infusion chairs
- 18–20 patients per day
- EPIC EMR with AI-assisted charting
- Collaborative, fast-growing practice
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage Hematology/Oncology patients
- Assist in the administration and management of:
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Targeted therapy
- Hormone therapy
- Provide follow-up care and patient education
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team
Support Team:
- 1 Hematology/Oncology Physician
- 1 Nurse Practitioner
- 3 Clinical Support Staff
Qualifications:
- Active New York PA License (license in hand)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician Assistant
- Recent EPIC experience required
- Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
- Adaptable and team-oriented with excellent communication skills
