A healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a First Assist role with their Gynecology Surgery teams in Atlantic City and Pomona, New Jersey. This locum tenens opportunity supports a collaborative operating room team performing advanced robotic gynecologic procedures.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Inpatient Operating Room
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the surgical first assist during robotic gynecologic procedures
- Assist the supervising surgeon throughout operative cases
- Collaborate with the operating room team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Document patient care in Cerner EMR
- Support care for an adult patient population
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
- Robotic First Assist certification or experience
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN certifications
- NPDB Self-Query completed within the last 30 days
