Located in Lewiston, ME – Portland 40m; Augusta 35m

Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Gastroenterology experience preferred
Overview:
* Join an established Gastroenterology team providing care for patients with acute and chronic GI, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary conditions
* Evaluate patients, perform histories and physical exams, develop treatment plans, and order/interpret diagnostic testing
* Manage conditions including GERD, IBD, IBS, peptic ulcer disease, chronic liver disease, viral hepatitis, pancreatic disorders, and GI bleeding
* Provide pre- and post-procedure evaluations for endoscopic procedures
* Educate patients on disease management, medications, nutrition, and preventive care
* Collaborate with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Nutrition, and other specialties
* May assist with inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and procedural support depending on practice needs
* NP or PA candidates considered
* 1–3 years of Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, or Primary Care experience preferred

* $123,000–$129,000 annual compensation
