Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults; acutely ill patients with a wide variety of medical problems; patient ratio 1:14-18
Setting: Acute Care Hospital; Adult III/IV Trauma
Responsibilities: Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine patient evaluation and management, patient/family education, medical documentation, referrals, complex case management, medication management, emergency interventions, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 1 Provider, 1 NP, 1 LPN, Anesthesia in each procedure
Days Per Month:
On-Call/Weekends: No Call; Monday-Friday schedule
Submission Requirements:
- AHA BLS certification and active New York State license
- Epic experience required; NY License in hand
