An exciting Locum Gastroenterology Physician Assistant opportunity in Bellingham, Washington. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for a PA looking to work in a collaborative Gastroenterology practice while maintaining a great work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
Work in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings.
Collaborate with Gastroenterologists and Advanced Practice Providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
Manage an average of 16 patients per day.
Qualifications
Active Washington State PA license or willingness to obtain one
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Recent clinical activity within the past 24 months that meets credentialing requirements
Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Experience managing adult Gastroenterology patients
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Strong documentation and organizational abilities
