Job Title: Locum Gastroenterology Physician Assistant
Location: Potsdam, NY
Start Date: 07/06/2026
Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday (Full-Time Coverage Needed)
Unit Information:
- Provider on Unit: 1
- Anesthesia: Provided for each procedure
- NP: 1
- LPN: 1
- Acuity Level of Patients: Adults with acute illnesses and a wide variety of medical conditions
- Patient Ratios: 1:14-18
- Automated Medication Dispensing System: Pixys
- Charting: EPIC
Job Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures within the scope of your PA certification.
Collaborate with physicians, NP, LPN, and other healthcare team members.
Support in patient education and management of acute conditions.
Requirements:
Required:
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
NY State License
Minimum of 3 years recent experience in Gastroenterology
