We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Potsdam, NY. The provider will manage adult patients in a clinical setting, supporting gastroenterology and internal medicine services while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Overview

Job Responsibilities
Provide gastroenterology-focused care in collaboration with physicians
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes in EPIC EMR
Prescribe and monitor medications as appropriate
Refer complex cases to collaborating physicians
Qualifications
BLS certification (AHA) required
Minimum 3+ years of recent experience
Experience with EPIC EMR
Strong communication and patient care skills
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No call responsibilities
Skills
Knowledge of gastroenterology practices and procedures
Effective patient communication and education
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Proficiency in EPIC documentation
