Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our advanced center for GI therapeutics [Register to View] This APP will support gastroenterologists who perform complex endoscopic and therapeutic procedures including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, Barrett’s esophagus ablation, and advanced GERD interventions.
This role focuses on the comprehensive management of pancreaticobiliary disorders, advanced esophageal disease, and functional/structural foregut conditions, across both outpatient and inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with advanced endoscopists, participate in pre- and post-procedural care, and manage longitudinal care for complex GI patients.
Duties include but are not limited to

Running daily GI outpatient clinic

Accurately providing and counseling patients with information for medical treatment or procedures

Answering emails and voicemails and returning patient calls in a timely and efficient manner

Abiding by and promoting HIPAA compliance; maintaining strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information
Master of Medical Science, Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner required, adult or acute care Nurse Practitioner. GI experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply. Must be computer literate and able to operate Practice Management software and multiple Microsoft Office applications.
