We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician Assistant with a strong interest in both GI and hepatology to join a growing specialty service line in the Bronx, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse case mix of digestive and liver diseases while collaborating closely with board-certified gastroenterologists in a high-demand practice serving communities across New York.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to chronic GI and liver disease management.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage patients with celiac disease, gallbladder disease, chronic pancreatic disease, GERD, esophageal disorders, and GI malignancies
• Treat liver and pancreatic conditions including Hepatitis B & C, hemochromatosis, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis, and other chronic disorders
• Manage inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Perform and assist with diagnostic testing and procedures as appropriate
• Interpret imaging studies including X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound
• Analyze patient history and clinical data to guide care decisions
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists (e.g., oncology)
• Document encounters accurately within the EMR
Qualifications
• Active New York State PA license
• NCCPA certification
• Experience in Gastroenterology or Hepatology preferred (new graduates with strong interest considered)
• Proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures preferred
• Familiarity with imaging interpretation (X-ray, MRI, ultrasound)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
