Job Description

A full-time opportunity exists within Ambulatory Care for a Family Nurse Practitioner to be a Float Practitioner and provide coverage in multiple Family Health Centers and/or Integrated Clinics when primary medical care providers are away from those sites for vacations, CME, sick days, FMLA (or other leaves of absence).

The Family Health Centers qualify for the Federal HPSA Loan Repayment Program and have a system score of 21.

The role of the Float Practitioner is to deliver primary care services in our eleven primary care clinics, all in the Phoenix Metro Area, that need their provider staffing augmented temporarily. Depending on the purpose of a particular assignment and its length, the work might include seeing same-day patients and/or covering routine patients.

Providers in the Float Practitioner role may still opt for either four-day or five-day work weeks. Compensation will include a $10,000 annual stipend for being a Float Nurse Practitioner.

Employment would be through a multi-specialty group with 400+ providers. Candidate must have an Arizona NP license and the ability and willingness to commute to varying clinic locations as requested. Previous clinical experience is highly desirable and preferred in the Float Practitioner role.

We offer an outstanding work environment and a competitive compensation/benefits package including 4 weeks PTO (personal time off), pension plan, CME allowance with paid time off and employer paid malpractice insurance.
