Job description
A respected community hospital in Western New York is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Urgent Care team. You'll be the go-to provider for a community that values its local care. You'll have the support of a collaborative hospital system behind you and the independence to practice at the top of your license.
Why You'll Want This Role:
Sign-on bonus, Student loan repayment
Relocation assistance
Competitive base salary 120k-155k plus a full benefits package
Predictable urgent care schedule -rotating 3 x 12s, and then 4 x 12s, with no hospital call
Direct access to on-site imaging, lab and specialty referrals through the hospital system
A collegial team where providers know each other by name and leadership listens
What You'll Do
See a broad mix of acute, episodic patients of all ages
Diagnose and treat minor injuries and illnesses, including suturing, splinting and I&D
Order and read diagnostics, then coordinate follow-up with primary care and specialists
Work closely with supervising and collaborating physicians and a supportive nursing team
What We're Looking For
Licensed NP or PA in New York State
National board certification (AANP, ANCC or NCCPA)
Urgent care, emergency or family practice experience preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply
Training Program Available
DEA or ability to obtain one
A calm, patient-centered approach and the ability to manage a steady pace
Life Outside of Work
Enjoy small-town living with a low cost of living, short commutes and four true seasons. Rolling hills, state parks, lakes and trails are right outside your door, and larger cities are within an easy drive. It's a great fit for families and anyone who wants room to breathe.
