Position Overview
A well-established medical practice in Ocala, Florida is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join its primary care team.
Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.

Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.

Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.

Diagnose and treat common primary care conditions.

Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice.

Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.

Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.

Monitor patients with chronic medical conditions and coordinate follow-up care.

Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record.

Collaborate with physicians and other members of the clinical team.
Qualifications
-
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

NCCPA certification.
-
Active Florida PA license or eligibility for licensure.

DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.

Family Medicine, Primary Care, or outpatient experience preferred.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff.
