## EP Cardiology APP (NP or PA) | Derby, CT Greater New Haven Area — 11 Miles from New Haven, 75 Miles from NYC ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * Schedule: Inpatient and outpatient — hospital-based and clinic responsibilities * Autonomy: Collaborative practice with cardiology and EP teams — comprehensive patient management across inpatient, outpatient, stress lab, CCTA, and cardiac MRI coverage * Setting: Inpatient and outpatient — non-profit, hospital-owned multi-specialty group * Cardiology experience required — electrophysiology experience strongly preferred ## Practice Overview Seeking an experienced Cardiology/EP APP to support medical, surgical, and outpatient cardiology and electrophysiology teams at a Planetree-model, patient-centered institution: * Manage implantable cardiac devices including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in the inpatient setting * Provide comprehensive care for patients with arrhythmias including anti-arrhythmic drug therapy and anticoagulation management * Support cardiology and EP teams with inpatient consultations, care coordination, and management of hospitalized patients * Write H&Ps for electrophysiology surgeries and assist in consultations * Provide stress lab, CCTA, and cardiac MRI coverage * Collaborate with hospital cardiology and EP teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient care * Comprehensive physiological, social, and psychological assessments of cardiology and EP patients * Part of a non-profit, hospital-owned multi-specialty group providing clinical services and teaching faculty for Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine residency programs ## Compensation & Benefits * Competitive compensation package * Full benefits — details provided upon inquiry ## Required Qualifications * NP or PA — active Connecticut APRN or PA license — required * Connecticut Controlled Substance registration and DEA — required * Cardiology experience — required * Electrophysiology experience — strongly preferred ## About the Community – Derby, Connecticut * Charming small city in the Greater New Haven area along the Naugatuck River * 11 miles from Yale University and New Haven's world-class dining, arts, and cultural scene * 40 miles from Hartford and 75 miles from New York City * Excellent schools and affordable Connecticut living * Easy access to New York City via I-95 and Metro-North rail * Rich New England history with beautiful four-season scenery * Convenient access to Bradley International Airport and New Haven's Tweed Airport
