Overview:
Our primary care practice in Brooklyn is seeking a Bilingual Physician Assistant (PA) fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to provide direct patient care across a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support continuity of care and access for our local Chinese-speaking community.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, 5 days a week, including one weekend day
• Pay: Starting at $80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, including detailed history taking and physical examinations for adult and geriatric patients
• Formulate differential diagnoses and collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications under physician supervision, including monitoring for efficacy, side effects, and adherence
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and screenings, integrating results into care plans
• Document all patient encounters, assessments, and care plans accurately in the EHR
• Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications
• Coordinate care and communicate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in follow-up visits, chronic disease management, and ongoing monitoring

Qualifications:

• Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in New York
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Cantonese required
• Prior experience in a primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine outpatient practice preferred
• Familiarity with chronic disease management protocols and experience with multicultural patient populations preferred
