We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join a multidisciplinary primary care team in San Jose, CA. This position focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient care, preventive medicine, health education, and ongoing management of patients in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat primary care patients

• Perform medical examinations and evaluations

• Develop and manage appropriate treatment plans

• Provide preventive care and health education

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatments

• Order labs, diagnostic testing, and specialty referrals as needed

• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records

• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the medical team

• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and health promotion initiatives

Qualifications

• Current California Physician Assistant license

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred

• One year of directly related experience preferred

• Community or public health experience preferred

• State Office of Family Planning Certificate if working within the family planning program

• Reliable transportation
