Full-time interventional radiology physician assistant

Join a collaborative radiology and clinical care team

Support interventional radiologists in the evaluation, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients undergoing image-guided procedures

Conduct patient histories and physical examinations, review diagnostic imaging and laboratory results, and assist with treatment planning

Provide pre-procedure, peri-procedure, and post-procedure patient care

Assist with and, as credentialed and permitted, perform image-guided interventional procedures under physician collaboration and organizational protocols

Coordinate patient education, procedural preparation, follow-up care, and communication with patients, families, referring clinicians, and care teams

Participate in inpatient consults, rounds, and outpatient follow-up as needed

Maintain timely, complete clinical documentation

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to promote safe, efficient, patient-centered care

Masters degree from an accredited physician assistant program required

Current or eligible Maryland physician assistant license required

Current NCCPA certification required

Active collaboration agreement with designated physician(s), as required for Maryland PA practice

Interventional radiology, radiology, surgery, critical care, vascular, emergency medicine, or procedural-care experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-education skills
