Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our women's health and primary care team in an outpatient setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, dentists, and social workers to care for our community.
Job Responsibilities
• See 20 to 24 patients per day in an outpatient clinic.
• Provide primary and preventative care focused on women's health.
• Complete all charting and administrative tasks accurately.
• Travel to other facilities occasionally (about 10% travel required).
• Work well independently and as part of a healthcare team
Qualifications
• Education: Master of Science (M.S.) Degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of work experience as a certified provider (student rotations do not count).
• Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish. You must be able to conduct full patient assessments without an interpreter.
• Licenses and Certifications: Active California Physician Assistant license.
• Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license.
• Current CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Approved credentials with health plans.
• Skills: Good computer skills (Microsoft Office), strong communication, and great bedside manner.
Working Hours
Position Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
