Job description
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a 6-month Family Medicine locum tenens assignment in Maine.
Assignment Details:
- Start: September 14, 2026
- Duration: Approximately 6 months
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Friday: Administrative hours, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Patient Volume: Approximately 18–20 patients per day
- Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine / Primary Care
Scope of Practice:
Bread-and-butter primary care including wellness exams, acute visits (cold, cough, flu), chronic disease management, diabetes management, weight management, and other routine Family Medicine services.
Requirements:
- NP or PA with Family Medicine/Primary Care experience
- 1–3+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Maine license preferred; facility will consider candidates who need to obtain a Maine license
