Physician Assistant – Family Health | Colorado Springs, CO

• Location: Colorado Springs, CO
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• End Date/Duration: 1 year commitment with options to extend
• Shift: Days, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Hours/Week: 40

• 1099 All inclusive Hourly Pay Rate: $68.00/hour

• Provide primary and specialty care services within scope of practice and privileges
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute, chronic, and preventive health needs
• Perform patient examinations, screenings, immunizations, and routine procedures
• Recognize emergency conditions, provide immediate treatment, and refer complex cases
• Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and immunizations following protocols
• Promote preventive medicine, health education, and patient self-management
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Educate patients and families, maintain infection control standards
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff training

Required:

• Degree/Education: Bachelor's degree. Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
• Certifications: Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA).
• Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
• Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
