Locum - Physician Assistant (PA) - Family Medicine Opportunity in St Ignace, MI!

ATC West Healthcare is seeking one locum Primary Care provider (NP, PA, or MD/DO) to provide temporary coverage while the organization recruits a permanent clinician. The provider will care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a well-established outpatient practice, working with a collaborative team and utilizing Epic EMR. No call, ED coverage, or supervisory responsibilities are required.

Dates / Schedule

• Start Date: Tentatively August 3, 2026
• Assignment Length: Minimum of 12 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday
• Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day
• Credentialing: Temporary privileges available; approximately 10 business days

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care services for adult and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Perform pelvic exams and Pap smears.
• Conduct disability examinations.
• Document all patient encounters using Epic EMR.
• Work alongside 5 primary care physicians and 4 advanced practice providers.
• No supervision of other healthcare providers.
• No emergency department backup or call responsibilities.
• Practice includes 2–3 exam rooms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• NP, PA, or MD/DO eligible for the position.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain board certification within 3 years of training completion).
• Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience.
• Active Michigan license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Available to work full-time, Monday through Thursday.
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
• Must be a local Michigan drive-in provider.
