Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity - Coastal Virginia Seeking high-quality Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) to join the dynamic Primary Care Team at Bayview Physicians Group — one of Virginia's largest independent, multi-specialty medical groups in Hampton Roads. Opportunities available across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Suffolk, offering flexibility to choose a practice setting that aligns with your lifestyle and career goals. Position Details
- Comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations in an outpatient setting
- Diagnosis and management of common acute illnesses and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans
- Ordering, interpreting, and following up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications and treatments consistent with current clinical guidelines
- Age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients (pediatrics a plus)
- Transitions of care including hospital follow-up and post-discharge management
- Internal referrals to specialists within the Bayview group
- Approximately 18–20 patients per day
- Collaborative practice with physicians and APPs within the practice
