Job Responsibilities
The Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and treatment of care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.

• Provide outpatient medical consultation services under physician supervision
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions for new and established patients
• Conduct follow-up care and ongoing patient management
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and initiate specialty referrals as appropriate
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergency phone calls
• Administer and order medications and treatments


Qualifications
• Minimum 1-year clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Urgent Care [required]
• Master's in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant [required]
• Current Licensed as Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant in Georgia [required]
• Current board certification by AANP/ANCC (NPs) or NCCPA (PAs) [required]
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility to obtain [preferred]
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based setting
