Docstar is looking for a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a contract in Maine.
Start Date: 5/18/2026 (possibly 5/11/2026)
Length of Assignment: 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8A–6P; Friday admin 8A–12P
Credentialing: 30 days
Patient Volume: 18–20 patients per day
Procedures: Basic family medicine (wellness exams, cold/flu, chronic care, diabetes, weight management)
Setting: Outpatient FQHC
EMR: Athena
Licence Needed: ME (will wait for right provider)
Certifications: BC, DEA, BLS, ACLS (AHA or Red Cross)
Details:
Outpatient Family Medicine role in a rural FQHC setting providing bread-and-butter primary care. Ideal for providers with rural health experience who are comfortable managing a wide range of chronic and acute conditions. The provider will be supported by dedicated clinical staff (RN, LPN, or MA), allowing for efficient and patient-focused care. Located in Maine, offering a peaceful rural setting with access to scenic landscapes, outdoor recreation, and a strong sense of community.
