Hancock is located in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, offering stunning natural scenery with access to outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, and water activities on the Great Lakes. This charming area provides a unique work-life balance in a close-knit community surrounded by pristine wilderness.
Facility: This healthcare system operates Express Care clinics providing convenient outpatient services to the Upper Peninsula community. The facility offers a supportive work environment with dedicated support staff and modern EMR systems to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
Opportunity: Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Job Details:
• Serve as the sole provider in Express Care clinic with dedicated support staff (1 MA, 1 receptionist)
• Work at two potential locations
• Handle 14-28 patient encounters per day in outpatient setting
• Onsite orientation required prior to first block of assigned shifts (approximately 8am - 3pm)
• Multiple blocks of coverage available from April through ongoing dates
• 7 days per week clinic schedule with rotating locations
• Must be US board certified with active Michigan license, CS license, and DEA
• Current BLS certification required
• Must demonstrate clinical experience in last 12 months or recent completion of accredited NP/PA program
• Utilize Athena EMR charting system
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Temporary privileges may be granted when needed
• Facility housing preferred if available
Compensation: $90-$95/hour rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid travel coverage!
