Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication administration and treatment protocols.
- Provide acute care, including triage, IV infusion, and emergency interventions.
- Manage chronic conditions through ongoing patient education and health coaching.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps as needed.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home care environments.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
- Provide telehealth services to expand access to care for patients.
Job Responsibilities
• Medical office experience with knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10).
• Experience administering injections, performing venipuncture, and specimen collection/processing.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth.
• Knowledge of behavioral health practices and pain management strategies.
• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice & palliative medicine. Ideal candidates will also have proficiency in advanced medical techniques such as esthetic laser treatment, dermal fillers administration, dialysis management, and ventilator care. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential for success in this role.
