Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse practitioner (Family)
Location: Nellis AFB, NV 89191
Duration: 3+ Years to Long term
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient primary and preventive healthcare services.
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses within the scope of practice.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, abscess drainage, lesion removal, splinting, and wound care.
• Provide emergency stabilization and coordinate patient transfers when needed.
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment compliance.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards in all aspects of care.
Skills:
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Proficient in EMR documentation and standard office procedures.
• Knowledge of health promotion, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
