Client is a nonprofit free clinic dedicated to providing high-quality medical and dental services to underserved and uninsured individuals in Southwest Washington. Our mission is to expand access to essential healthcare through compassionate service, ensuring that every member of our community experiences health, hope, and healing.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Associate Medical Director, plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to Client’s underserved patient population. This position provides acute and chronic care, oversees follow-up care, and collaborates with nurses and volunteers to ensure seamless patient management. The APP also supports administrative and clinical leadership, maintaining the highest professional standards.

Compensation & Benefits:
Reports to Executive Director and Medical Director.
Hourly rate: $68–$75, based on experience.
Sick leave per WA State Initiative 1433.
Vacation: 3 weeks (60 hours/year).
403(b) retirement plan via Vestwell.
Malpractice insurance coverage.
Observed holidays include: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical guidance, disease prevention, and health promotion.
Collaborate with medical staff for consultation and referrals.
Develop Standing Orders and advise on policies and procedures.
Supervise staff, including Patient Navigator, Nurse Case Manager, and Community Health Worker.
Coordinate and support volunteers in immunizations, diabetes education, hypertension education, and other patient programs.
Serve as the primary contact for lab results, urgent care follow-up, and on-site volunteer training.
2. Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
Prescribe medications, monitor treatment plans, and order/interpreted lab tests.
Utilize Telehealth as appropriate for patient care.
Provide patient education on preventive care, medical issues, and treatments.
Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in compliance with standards.
3. Administrative Support (as needed):
Oversee front desk operations, volunteer schedules, and coverage.
Conduct safety meetings and facility maintenance, including lab and equipment oversight.
Support compliance with OHSA/WSHA reviews and regulatory requirements.
4. Other Responsibilities:
Comply with federal and state regulations and Client policies.
Integrate new medical knowledge into practice.
Collaborate effectively with volunteers, nursing staff, and the community.
Address the physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of patients.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Licensed Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) in Washington State.
Current BLS certification; DEA license with prescriptive privileges.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 20 lbs, sit for up to 8 hours, stand for up to 2 hours.
Ability to manage work-life balance and typical job-related stress.
