Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a per diem locum role. This position involves conducting one-time disability exams for Veterans in office settings in centrally located areas.
***Multiple County Needs within Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Minnesota and Virginia***
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid
- Shift: Flexible
- Schedule: Per diem, as needed
- Hours: 0.5 to 2.0 days per week
- Setting: Office-based
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
- Conducting one-time disability exams for Veterans
- Ensuring exams are completed with accuracy
- Complete necessary documentation
- Adhering to VA guidelines
- Working with a flexible schedule to meet demand
Qualifications:
- Valid and active state license
- National certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
- Experience in clinical settings
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-oriented
- Adaptable to change
Desired Skills:
- Experience in disability exams
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Additional certifications in related fields
