Job description:
- Provide comprehensive primary and specialty care within scope and granted privileges.
- Evaluate and treat routine, acute, and chronic conditions; perform screenings, physical exams, immunizations, and patient counseling.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, minor trauma, and identify emergency conditions requiring referral or immediate treatment.
- Deliver outpatient care to patients of all ages, focusing on health maintenance and preventive medicine.
- Conduct occupational health exams, separation/retirement physicals, deployment assessments, and virtual mental health assessments as needed.
- May serve as a Primary Care Manager for a patient panel, including diagnostic evaluation, ordering/interpreting tests, creating treatment plans, and handling patient consults.
- Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families on wellness, preventive care, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and support safe clinical practices.
- Participate in team meetings, safety huddles, quality improvement, and continuing education activities.
Requirement:
• Active Physician assistant License for any state.• Active BLS/CPR.
