Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Endocrinology Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient specialty practice in Southern Connecticut.
This opportunity requires at least three years of provider experience and is ideal for a Physician Assistant with experience managing diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic conditions, and other endocrine-related diagnoses.
The incoming provider will work closely with endocrinologists, APPs, and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive outpatient endocrine care.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide care for diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, and related conditions
• Conduct patient assessments, follow-ups, and treatment planning
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on medication management, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Support continuity of care within the endocrinology service line
Qualifications
• Active or eligible Connecticut PA license
• Minimum of three years of provider experience required
• Endocrinology or diabetes management experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
