Locums | Critical Care APP | Cardiac ICU | PA License | Hershey, PA Why This Role

  • Specialized cardiac critical care assignment
  • 3 x 13-hour shifts/week
  • Advanced ECMO, LVAD + transplant population
  • Intensivist-guided ICU model
  • Coverage through March 2027
Assignment Details Start: ASAP End: March 31, 2027 Schedule: 3 x 13-hour shifts/week Day shift: 7am-8pm Night shift: 7pm-8am Nights, weekends + holidays required No call Setting: Inpatient cardiac ICU Volume: ~8-12 patients/shift Unit: 30 beds Support: 2 APPs + Intensivist EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~60-90 days; no temporary privileges No guaranteed hours Clinical Details Cardiac critical care + HVI CCU patient management VA + VV ECMO Impella + LVAD management Cardiac transplant patients Daily rounding + admissions Postoperative cardiac management Order entry + ongoing patient management Arterial + central line placement Swan-Ganz catheter placement IABP removal Requirements Board Certified Critical Care APP Active PA license IMLC not accepted BLS + ACLS Cardiac ICU critical care experience VA/VV ECMO, Impella + LVAD experience Cardiac transplant experience Availability for 3 x 13-hour shifts/week Night, weekend + holiday availability Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice provided Travel reimbursed
