Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in SC. This position offers a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule, with approximately two weeks of coverage per month.

Coverage & Work Details

  • 12-hour shifts, approximately 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • 7 days on / 7 days off
  • No call coverage required
  • Emergency Department setting
  • Typical ED support team includes MDs, NPs, and PAs
  • Patient population: approximately 85% adults, 10% pediatrics, and 5% trauma
  • Patients of all ages
  • EMR: Epic
  • Level I trauma center emergency medicine equipment available

Requirements

  • Emergency Medicine Board Certification required
  • Active South Carolina medical license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • DEA required
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
  • CSR: TBD
