Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant – Locum Opportunity in Sumter, SC
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a locum opportunity in Sumter, South Carolina.
Schedule & Coverage
- 7 on / 7 off schedule (2 weeks per month)
- 12-hour shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- No call
Practice Setting
- Typical emergency department supported by MDs, NPs, and PAs
- Patient mix: 85% adults, 10% pediatrics, 5% trauma — all age groups
- Epic EMR; Level 1 trauma center equipment
Requirements
- Emergency Medicine board certification
- Active South Carolina PA license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- DEA registration
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Clean professional background
- Flu, MMR, and Varicella vaccines (waivers accepted)
- Credentialing typically 90–120 days with an active SC license
