Job description
Employer: Inhospital Physicians / Seven Star
The Opportunity
Work emergency medicine as an APP across three KPC hospitals in Southern California: Hemet Global (327 beds), Menifee Global and Victor Valley Global. You'll see roughly two patients an hour alongside board-certified emergency physicians. Because these are the community hospitals their regions truly rely on, the case mix is broad — and with ambient AI dictation, your charting stays at work instead of following you home.
What You'll Own
- A broad emergency case mix at roughly two patients an hour.
- Exposure across three departments if you want the variety, or a home base if you don't.
- Ambient AI dictation, which at this volume is the difference between leaving on time and not.
Must-Haves
- NP or PA
- At least one year of experience
- Active California license
Nice to Have
- Prior emergency medicine experience
- Willingness to cover more than one site
- Paragon familiarity
What Working Here Is Actually Like
- $80/hr, W-2.
- Full W-2 benefits. Medical, dental and vision from the first of the month after hire; employer-paid life at 1x salary up to $300,000; employer-paid long-term disability at 60% of salary; 401(k). The benefit plan year runs 1 October to 30 September.
- 40 hours of sick leave.
- Malpractice and tail both covered. Tail is the one people forget to ask about until they leave.
- Paragon with ambient AI dictation.
- Board-certified EM physicians on every shift — you are supported, not substituting.
- Physician-owned and physician-managed since 2012. When you escalate a problem, it reaches a physician who still works clinical shifts.
- Not a locums agency. An ongoing program position with a named, stable team.
Straight Talk
Covering multiple sites means different departments, different teams and real driving between Hemet, Menifee and Victorville. Some APPs like the variety; others want one department and one set of colleagues. Tell us which you are and we'll be straight about what's available.
